In 2025/2026, Walden Academy will receive $252,912 from the Education Protection Account (EPA), as a result of California voters approving Proposition 30. In 24/25 the total amount of $556,144 was expensed to certificated teacher salaries, as a result of California voters approving Proposition 30. This amount may change when EPA apportionments’ are certified, but is the most accurate forecast available at this time. The governing board of Walden Academy has resolved to spend EPA funds on instructional salaries, which meets the requirements outlined in Article XIII, Section 36 of the California Constitution.
Walden also received a prior year 2022/2023 amount of $276,577. This amount may change when EPA apportionments’ are certified, but is the most accurate forecast available at this time. The governing board of Walden Academy has resolved to spend EPA funds on instructional salaries, which meets the requirements outlined in Article XIII, Section 36 of the California Constitution.
In 2021/2022, Walden Academy will received $342,888 from the Education Protection Account (EPA). Walden also received a prior year (20/21) adjustment amount of $6,957. The total amount of $349,845 was expensed to certificated teacher salaries.as a result of California voters approving Proposition 30 on November 6, 2012. This amount may change when EPA apportionments’ are certified, but is the most accurate forecast available at this time. Walden Academy Charter School invites parents, guardians, students, staff, and community members to attend a public hearing to review and provide input on the school’s Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP), including budget, for the 2025-2026 school year.
The LCAP is a critical document that outlines our goals, actions, and expenditures to support student achievement and address the needs of all students, especially English learners, foster youth, and low-income students.
